Welcome to my website I hope you find everything you need to know regarding Renovations and Designs. I have tried to provide as much relevant information on the website as possible. I haved lived in Victoria most of my life and know that we live in a little bit of heaven.I am a Uvic Graduate and have been doing Renovations and Designs for over 15 years. It has help that the love of my life for over 20 years is a well respected Contractor, who comes from a family of Contractors. My direction for any client is to find out what makes them feel good about their home or office, or as in most cases, what makes them unhappy about their home or office. This can sometimes take 25 minutes and sometimes is can take a couple of hours. Every client is differerent , so much approach to each project is different. I feel very strongly that everyone knows what they like and what makes them live happy. Unfortunately for a lot of people, they accept existing and tolerable instead of living and enjoying. People sometimes get into such a rut, or as I like to call it "Good enough for now"..that for some years can bo by before they relize how unhappy they are..but they are to confused, scared or outright lost to even start the process of change. This is one of the best parts of my profession, helping people find out what is really important to them in their spaces and what is not. One of the most common statements I hear is "I really don't like this room (or space) but I just do not know where to start". In most cases, once the first steps are taken to improve and change the room, it is like a waterfall...the old saying the "The First steps to change are the hardest" are so true. But saying that , I want to state that I have never and will never force a client to make changes that are not right for them. Trends come and go, but true quality and style is classic and long lasting. Stating that, I do upgrade my skills often and am always looking for new, but solid ideas and materials. I am not swayed by "fly by night " trends or styles. I know that every project I complete, will hold up in time. Finally, I want you to know that I truley love what I do, my clients range from the very young to the seasoned senior, from the " tight budget and not a penny"over to the" I want what I want at any cost", but most of my clients are in between both . I am very good a keeping my clients on Budget and have had maybe a few clients say..."but I want to spend more money, you should like that", My response to that is that if is not in your best interest , I would not complete it that way. In Closing, I would love to hear from you, I would like this sight to help others during their building, renovation or design..
